Support Software Engineer
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with a focus on automation and support to join our team.
Our team plays a crucial role in supporting a telemetry platform that is used by teams across the company at scale. This platform is a vital tool for gathering and analysing data, and our team is responsible for ensuring that it is running smoothly and efficiently by working closely with engineering teams and internal customers. Whether we're troubleshooting technical issues or working on implementing automation solutions to improve the platform, our work has a direct impact on the success of teams across the organization.
What we expect
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a technical support role
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (e. g. Python, Java, C#)
- Experience with database systems (e. g. MySQL, Oracle)
- Experience with automation tools and technologies a plus

Your tasks
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues reported by internal customers
- Evaluating sample code for different platforms, making database queries and API calls
- Working closely with the first-level support teams, engineering, and product management, acting as an escalation point
- Collaborating with engineering and product management team to identify opportunities for automation
- Partnering with engineering to implement automation that will streamline support and improve self-serve capabilities
- Maintaining product documentation and writing troubleshooting guides for support
- Participating in on-call support rotation as needed
