We now have an exciting new opportunity at Lendlease for a Senior Consultant working within a team working nationally from our Barangaroo office. This role will guide and deliver solutions to optimise building environmental performance across our portfolio and providing technical advice across our current and future projects.
The Role
- Identifying and assessing opportunities to improve environmental sustainability for projects and at a portfolio / business level
- Peer review of building design, reporting and commitments to identify risks and opportunities
- Lead technical sustainability support to the development, design and delivery of projects
- Support more junior team members in guiding the implementation and delivery of rating tool requirements and targets to support project certification
- Participate in post occupancy performance verification and optimisation to validate theory against real world performance and identify opportunities for enhancements
What You Need
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or related discipline
- Open to experienced Consultants and Engineers currently working within the Sustainability and Engineering Consulting industry.
- Experience in the use of advanced building simulation techniques and software
- Understanding of rating tools such as Green Star, NABERS and WELL and associated requirements through design, construction and commissioning of projects
- Strong communication skills with an ability to work in an integrated team environment and build relationships with multiple stakeholders
- You will be self-motivated and able to prioritise several projects simultaneously.
