Someone who is excited by the possibilities of working on the intersection of FinTech and blockchain, deeply detail-oriented and focused on User Experience. Tech stack TypeScript, React, Jest, @testing-library/react, SCSS + CSS Modules, Storybook, MobXCore Responsibilitiesdeveloping front-end for Ramp application and making key decisions on technology and frontend architecture issues with the teamanalyzing and understanding business requirements and translating them into technical solutionsworking closely with our designers and product team on delivering a world-class user experiencementoring less-experienced developersworking with niche frontend tech: SDKs, payment gateways, iframes, cross-frame communication, anti-fraud tools, browser extension APIs (communication with blockchain wallets). Candidate Requirementssolid experience in front-end developmentability to understand and appreciate good UXexperience in refining tasks and asking the right questionsexperience in working with design teams on delivering excellent products to customersexperience in setting up frontend build systems, analyzing and picking the right tech for problems you need to solveability to explain complex technical issues in plain language to others, including non-tech peoplegreat code review & communication skillsgood testing practicesreadiness to work in a rapidly scaling up startupBonus pointsexperience in building payment flows in web appsexperience in tutoring less experienced developerscrypto-related experience (building or maintaining dApps)Our codebase is written almost entirely in TypeScript, so thumbs up if you're familiar with it (and if not, get familiar, it's brilliant).
