Senior Cloud Engineer
Salary: £50, 000 - 50, 000 per year
Requirements:- We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong understanding of the Azure Power Platforms, M365, Entra ID, and ITIL v4. While experience in a similar role is advantageous, it is not required to have deep knowledge of O365, Autopilot, Defender, Intune, and Single Sign-on (SSO). A relevant apprenticeship or higher education is preferred.
- As a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer, I will support and enable the Microsoft Technology Stack through IT Change and troubleshoot IT problems, following ITIL v4 guidelines in a cutting-edge and highly secure environment. My role will involve:
- Supporting our technical environment, which includes Microsoft technologies, Meraki, SaaS solutions (including our own bespoke workshop management system), and Single Sign-on (SSO).
- Collaborating with the Systems Architect to design, implement, and maintain cloud and network solutions.
- Assisting with IT Change/Problem Management following ITIL v4 guidelines, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Ensuring IT governance and security best practices along with disaster recovery plans are adhered to.
- Maintaining detailed documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting.
- Providing advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across various IT areas.
- Offering guidance and support to the wider IT team on infrastructure design and build.
- Raising concerns, risks, and cyber incidents to the IT leadership team.
- Providing information regarding system/device performance and error logs.
- Collaborating with the Helpdesk team to eliminate blockers and resolve incidents and process service requests.
