The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our client's products comply with legal regulations throughout Europe. This will require broad regulatory experience in the CPG industry, as well as an understanding of the chemistry behind consumer products. Additionally, you should actively monitor changes in European and national regulations concerning chemical consumer goods. This is a fully remote position.
Client Details
Our client is an international organization that specializes in the production and distribution of footwear care products. Due to continuous growth, they are currently seeking a Regulatory Manager to ensure compliance of their products with both Polish and international laws. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work 100% remotely.
Description
- Verification of products according to legal regulations in force throughout Europe
- Proactive monitoring of changes in European and national regulations concerning chemical consumer goods
- Management of regulatory projects for which you will be responsible
- Close cooperation with various company departments, such as: marketing (advising on product labeling), product management, and research and development (as a consultant in the design of new products, assessment of new formulations, creation of safety data sheets), supporting the sales department (applications from authorities, customer inquiries)
- Regional cooperation with a foreign team of professionals in the field of product regulations, who will support the selected person.
Profile
- Minimum 5 years of regulatory experience in the CPG or FMCG industry in an international environment - focused on downstream users, distributors and importers of chemical substances
- Knowledge of regulations relevant to the chemical industry, such as REACH, CLP, GPSD, POPs, BPR packaging waste, etc
- Project management and time management skills
- Ability to set priorities, adhere to them and communicate them to the team
- Willingness to proactively learn about changing regulations in European countries
- Good communication skills, ability to communicate quickly and clearly
- Very good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple parallel tasks
- Fluent English language skills
- Knowledge of German language will be an additional asset
- Knowledge of regulations in DACH countries will be an additional asset
- Experience in the chemical industry will be an additional asset
