Job Description
The Card Acceptance team at Mangopay is responsible for the infrastructure and business of online card acceptance. The delivery of the best possible card acceptance is a critical mission due to the central role card acquiring has in e-commerce.
Mission
We are looking for a Product Lead to lead the Card Acceptance team at Mangopay and further scale our cards offering as we expand internationally. To support the ambitions of our clients we need to offer the best online payments experience. As a Product Lead you will balance country-specific developments and card processing strategies to drive the highest conversion rates for our clients in each of the markets. This role is an exciting combination of leadership, strategic vision, steering and delivery of the roadmap, and management.
What you will do
Be a known leader for online card payments, with in-depth experience and knowledge of acquiring, authorisation, tokenization, authentication, orchestration
Actively engage to identify the needs and challenges of our clients and turn them into added value for our cards offering
Lead the Cards Acceptance product team, define its vision and deliver on its strategy, working with engineers, data analysts and other stakeholders
Be data driven - use qualitative and quantitative insights to determine the right prioritization
Drive roadmap execution through OKRs
Establish metrics, processes and dashboards for monitoring and evaluating the performance and success of the product and its features
Identify ongoing scalability and operational improvements to set the product up for success
Coach Product Managers and hire new talents, as necessary
Qualifications
What you need to succeed
8+ years experience in Product Management
6+ years experience in Fintech, and specifically in online card payments processing; you are familiar with the latest trends and developments in the card payments space
Expert knowledge of tokenization (including Network tokens), authentication, authorization, orchestration and the players involved in the card processing chain
Deep understanding of what impacts card payment approvals and experience in optimizing card processing performance
Experience working with payment partners to drive value and scale
Experience working with APIs, front-end and back-end experience, UX, Compliance, Legal, Billing
Excellent team leadership skills with proven track record of team management and growth
Experience working with data such that you can guide analysis with the right questions to answer, turning those into actionable insights and value to the business and clients
Ownership and Leadership: you are able to form a vision and work with product, engineering and various stakeholders to turn that vision into life
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a broad range of technical and business audiences in a simple and compelling way
Pragmatism, business acumen and entrepreneurship skills
