Salary: £60, 000 - 60, 000 per year

• We are looking for candidates with experience supporting CAD or PLM tools in engineering, aerospace, or manufacturing settings. A solid understanding of how engineers use design applications and where support adds value is essential. Technical knowledge across application deployment, licensing, and scripting/automation (such as PowerShell or similar) is required. You should be able to work independently and proactively with stakeholders across engineering and IT. Ideally, you will also be familiar with Windows Server environments, patch management, and hybrid infrastructure. SC clearance or eligibility to obtain it is preferred.

• In this role, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing CAD and PLM applications (for example, SolidWorks, NX, CATIA, and Teamcenter). You will act as the go-to expert for engineering software issues, directly troubleshooting with design teams. Managing licenses, application upgrades, patches, and integrations will also be part of your duties. You will liaise between engineering and IT to ensure application reliability, security, and performance. Additionally, you will deliver training or documentation as needed for engineering users and lead or support system improvements, migrations, and vendor engagement.
