For our client an international company with SSC located in Kraków, we are looking for General Ledger Accountant (RtR).

Your responsibilities:

• Journal entries preparation and posting
• Preparation of financial statements
• Perform month-end and year-end closure activities
• Reconcile intercompany balances
• Maintain General Ledger Master data
• Perform balance sheet reconciliation including cash transactions reconciliation
• Analyze P&L accounts (mainly OPEX)
• Analyze, maintain and report fixed assets
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of required financial reports
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
• Cooperation with internal and external auditors
• Take part in global improvement projects, take initiative to improve processes and assist with other accounting projects
• Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
• Cooperation with the local finance team and other Vesuvius departments

• Experience in the RTR /GL area in SSC/BPO environment
• Understanding of RTR end to end process
• Advanced English (min. B2)
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree preferably in Finance or Accounting
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially very good MS Excel skills
• Experience in SAP or Oracle system
• Ability to gain knowledge fast, process orientation and ability to work in a team
