Salary: £130, 000 - 143, 000 per year

• You will be an experienced solutions architect accustomed to assessing legacy platforms and applications during the discovery phase. You should be able to produce high-level designs (HLD) and low-level designs (LLD) to provide secure solutions. Your experience should include working with servers dating back to 2003/2008 and SQL Server, along with extensive experience in migration and upgrade projects. Additionally, you will have a background in collaborating with third parties. We seek someone who is based within a commutable distance of Kettering and has a notice period of no more than two weeks.

• In this role, I am responsible for the development and delivery of design, policies, standards, and governance collateral to ensure that our technology platforms meet both business and customer requirements. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop high-level and detailed solution designs, considering scalability, reliability, and security using appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools. Furthermore, you will review existing information and, where necessary, undertake a discovery of the legacy environment to create a comprehensive AS-IS view of the current architecture and solutions. You will work alongside the project manager to define and plan project activities, create work packages/runbooks, and track progress. Additionally, you will collaborate with third parties to evaluate new solutions, define requirements, and review statements of work (SOWs).

This position is home-based, requiring you to be on-site in Kettering one or two days per week. The day rate for this contract role is between £500 and £550, with a duration of 6 months.
