Adjunct (PostDoc) in Department of Biophysical Microstructures (NZ55) - 11/2020/Ad
The idea of the project is to evaluate the biophysical properties (mechanical, rheological, and adhesive) of selectively captured various cell types (bladder, pancreas cancers and melanoma) on modified surfaces, realized by means of atomic force microscopy (AFM). Research topics will focus, but not exclusively, on the development of a theoretical model combining the rheological properties of non-adherent cells with the mechanical and adhesive properties of adherent cells, along with its incorporation into software for analysing the mechanical properties of cells. The research will be theoretical, computational with programming elements.
